First aid at work. This three day qualification will provide all the required first aid skills necessary to manage a patient that is not breathing normally, is unconscious, bleeding or is ill or injured prior to the arrival of the emergency services. The qualification is designed to provide the First Aider with the skills necessary to give effective basic life support, diagnose and treat minor and manage major injuries or illness keeping the patient alive until the emergency services arrive.


First aid at work requalification. A First Aid at Work certificate must be renewed every three years by undertaking a two day requalification course. The course enables you to update your skills and knowledge learned as part of your First Aid at Work Certificate.


Emergency first aid at work. This one day course is ideally suited to workplaces which have lower Health & Safety risks. It is designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work to provide first aid in a range of emergency first aid situations. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities.


First aid annual skills update.
First aiders who hold a valid First Aid at Work certificate are strongly advised by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to undertake Annual Skills Update training to maintain basic skills and to keep up to date with any changes.


Paediatric first aid. This two day qualification is for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide first aid to children (including babies) when dealing with, an emergency situation, a chronic or sudden paediatric illness or paediatric injury.


Emergency paediatric first aid. This one-day course is for newly qualified level two and three childcare staff who are beginning a career in an Early Years setting.
