Delegates on this course learn the practical skills required to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues. It is suitable for those who want to gain the necessary skills to have a non-judgmental conversation, recognise the signs and symptoms of common workplace mental health issues and effectively guide a person towards the right support - whether that’s self-help resources, through their employer, the NHS, or a mix.
This is achieved through a mix of group activities, presentations and discussions, each session is built around a Mental Health First Aid action plan.
All delegates who sucessfully complete the course recieves a MHFA manual to keep and refer to whenever they need it, and a certificate to say they are a Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid England.
This course takes two days to complete and runs 09:00 - 16:00 both days.
