We work with a number of schools, colleges and universities across the region, delivering first aid and health and safety training courses.

For example, we have worked in partnership with Newcastle University for over 15 years delivering a range of paramedic-led First Aid at Work and health and safety training. Our Specialist Skills Team delivers First Aid at Work, and First Aid at Work Requalification courses to staff at the University, and to some post-graduate students and societies, to ensure they have the skills required should an incident occur. The First Aid at Work training covers a wide range of first aid emergencies and enables candidates to qualify as a First Aider in the workplace. It provides practical experience and includes scenarios and role play to build knowledge and confidence. We also deliver a number of bespoke courses including covering themes such as sports and hazards (hydrofluoric acid).

At Newcastle College we have, in addition to the more standard courses, delivered first aid training for those working with or sharing an environment with wheelchair users, which received extremely positive feedback.

We also take part in the British Heart Foundation's 'Restart a Heart Day', an annual initiative which aims to train as many students as possible in CPR in one day, so that more young people know these life-saving skills.  The initiative is open to schools across the region and usually takes place in October. During the rest of the year we work with a number of schools, training staff. One of the most popular short courses we have found recently is defibrillator training. This course can be delivered at your workplace during a lunch hour to up to 12 staff.  We can also recommend which defibrillator would be most suitable for your workplace.

We are also a Commercial Supporter of Schools North East, an organisation committed to the region's schools, supporting them in shaping the education of young people.
We appreciate the pressures and constraints faced by those working in education and try our best to accommodate, i.e. delivering training on-site, grouping sessions together to be delivered across one day, providing guidance in terms of compliance and, by offering competitive pricing.
