Emergency oxygen administration can be given in most breathing and cardiac emergencies. This course, may be taught separately or as part of a comprehensive CPR, AED or First Aid training course. It is suitable for workplace first aiders, home or workplace carers and healthcare staff.
You can combine this course with others, for example Automated External Defibrillator (AED) familiarisation, Medical Suction Equipment Training and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and make a cost saving.
Candidates are continuously assessed by North East Ambulance Service trainers.
On successful completion of this course candidates will receive a North East Ambulance Service approved Emergency Oxygen Training Certificate which is valid for one year.
The course is one hour in duration and can be delivered on your premises at timings suitable to you.
Training is carried out at your place of work.
